Dry lining installation on stud walls in a property extension

Dry lining of new stud walls in a single-storey extension, ready for plastering and decoration.

This project involved dry lining the stud walls of a newly built single-storey extension. Plasterboard was fixed to the timber frame, joints were taped and filled, and the surface was prepared for a skim coat. The work was carried out alongside the electrician and plumber to ensure all first-fix work was complete before the boards went up.

Scope of works

  • Fix plasterboard to timber stud walls
  • Tape and fill all joints
  • Form clean angles at corners and ceilings
  • Prepare surface for skim coat
  • Coordinate with first-fix trades
