Skim coat over sound existing plaster to refresh a tired living room ready for redecoration.
The existing plaster in this living room was sound but had a textured finish that the homeowner wanted to smooth out. After checking the plaster was well-bonded, a skim coat was applied directly over the existing surface. The ceiling was also skimmed to remove an old artex texture, giving the room a clean, modern finish.
